How we work

The bench, plainly.

Every repair starts with a quote, not a guess. We look the instrument over, talk through what it needs versus what's optional, and write up the work before any string comes off. If a job grows mid-repair — a buzz turns out to be a high fret, a wiring issue traces back to a bad jack — we stop and call before spending your money.

We don't take in instruments we can't do right by. If the work is outside our wheelhouse, we'll say so and point you at someone who can help. The goal is the same one you have: get a working instrument back in your hands, sounding the way it should.

Got something that needs work?

Quotes are free. Most setups and small repairs turn around in a week; bigger work we'll scope honestly before any string comes off.
